The TP-Link Deco X50-PoE (3-pack) is a 3-pack AX3000 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 mesh Wi-Fi system with PoE. Each unit delivers 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz (HE160) and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, and has one 2.5 Gbps and one gigabit WAN/LAN auto-sensing port, powered by 802.3at PoE or the 12 V DC adapter. It is set up and managed in the TP-Link Deco app.

What the Deco X50-PoE is for

The flat units mount on a ceiling or wall and can run from one PoE cable each, which suits offices, shops and homes where sockets are not where the Wi-Fi needs to be.

What you will need

A broadband modem or ISP router with an Ethernet port and a smartphone for the Deco app. Each unit needs either an 802.3at PoE port (a PoE switch or injector) or a power socket for the supplied adapter.

What PoE standard does it need?

802.3at PoE. Each unit can also run from the 12 V DC adapter supplied.

Can I mount the units?

Yes, ceiling/wall mounting kits are included.

Can I replace my ISP router with it?

Often yes: it supports PPPoE and VLAN tagging. Otherwise use Access Point mode behind the ISP router.

Can I mix it with other Decos?

Yes. TP-Link state that all Decos work together.

How quickly can I get it?

Stocked items are dispatched for delivery within 1-3 working days to England, Scotland and Wales; we do not ship to Northern Ireland.
