We are a supplier, not an installer. We will go through the EAP225 with you before you buy — how many access points your site actually needs, whether your switch has the PoE budget, and which Omada controller suits you — and depending on your requirements and your area we can recommend a qualified trade installer. We have been operating since 2012 and you can visit our trade counter in Wolverhampton.
Yes. TP-Link list 802.3af PoE and 24 V passive PoE input, with a maximum draw of 12.6 W, so any 802.3af or 802.3at PoE switch port, for example on the Omada SG2210MP or SG2016P, will power it. A 24 V passive PoE adapter is also in the box.
It can be set up on its own through its web interface or the Omada app, and it is managed centrally by any Omada controller: TP-Link list Omada Central (cloud-based), the Omada hardware controllers such as the OC200 and OC300, and the free Omada Software Controller. TP-Link note that cloud access requires an Omada controller.
