The TP-Link Omada EAP725-Wall is a BE3600 Wi-Fi 7 wall-plate access point for business Wi-Fi. It delivers 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and up to 4324 Mbps on 5 GHz (TP-Link specification), has a 2.5G uplink plus one 2.5G and two gigabit downlink ports, and is powered by 802.3at/bt PoE. TP-Link rate it for wall mounting, covering up to 50 m² (600 ft²) and 250+ concurrent clients.
What the EAP725-Wall is for
The EAP725-Wall gives each room Wi-Fi 7 plus three wired ports from one cable: a practical wall-plate tp link access point for hotels, student rooms and offices.
Wall-plate APs mount over a standard wall box, so each hotel room, dorm, flat or office gets its own access point and wired ports from the existing cable.

What you will need
A PoE source and a network cable to the wall box. No DC input is listed; it is PoE powered. For central management, add an Omada controller (hardware, software or Omada Central cloud).

Does the EAP725-Wall support PoE, and which TP-Link PoE switch powers it?
It is PoE powered (802.3at/bt). The 2.5G downlink supports PoE pass-through: 7 W with an 802.3at input or 15.4 W with 802.3bt. An 802.3at PoE+ switch such as the Omada SG2210MP (8 PoE+ ports) or SG2428P (24 PoE+ ports) powers it.
Does the EAP725-Wall need an Omada controller?
It can be set up on its own through its web interface or the Omada app, and it is managed centrally by any Omada controller: TP-Link list Omada Central (cloud-based), the Omada hardware controllers such as the OC200 and OC300, and the free Omada Software Controller. TP-Link note that cloud access requires an Omada controller.
What Wi-Fi standard is the EAP725-Wall?
It is Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), BE3600 class, with TP-Link quoting 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and up to 4324 Mbps on 5 GHz (TP-Link specification).
How many devices and how much area does the EAP725-Wall cover?
TP-Link quote 250+ concurrent clients and coverage of up to 50 m² (600 ft²). These are TP-Link test figures; walls and interference reduce real coverage.
Can the EAP725-Wall be used outdoors?
No. It is an indoor unit rated for an operating temperature of 0–40 °C. For outdoor Wi-Fi see the Omada outdoor models in our access points range.
EAP725-Wall or EAP655-Wall?
The EAP725-Wall is Wi-Fi 7 with a 2.5G uplink; the EAP655-Wall is Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 with gigabit ports and a lower price.
