The TP-Link Omada MC1400 is a 19-inch, 2U rackmount chassis with 14 slots for TP-Link media converters, with redundant power supply and two fans. It powers up to 14 converters from one mains input, with 14 x 9VDC / 0.6A outputs.

What the MC1400 is for

Where a site has several fibre runs coming back to one comms cabinet, for example CCTV poles, outbuildings and gatehouses, the MC1400 tidies the media converters into one rack shelf instead of a row of separate units and plug-in power adapters.

TP-Link list it as compatible with TP-Link media converters that take a 9VDC input, such as the MC100CM, and it is the chassis named for the MC200CM, MC210CS and MC220L family. Ask us to confirm a specific model.

What you will need

You need 2U of space in a 19-inch rack cabinet, a mains supply, and the TP-Link media converters you want to fit. Media converters are sold separately.

We will go through the MC1400 with you before you buy (which converters you will fit and the rack space you have) and depending on your requirements and your area we can recommend a qualified trade installer. No. The chassis is sold on its own, so add the converters you need, for example the MC210CS.

How quickly can I get it?

We ship nationally from our multi-million pound warehouse, with orders leaving daily. Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally dispatched for delivery within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales. You can also collect in store from our trade counter. Call first so we can confirm your order is ready. We do not ship to Northern Ireland.
