TP-Link describe it as an AC-input, DC-output module that converts the input to 53.5 V with up to 500 W of output.

What the PSM500-AC is for

TP-Link's larger Omada and Omada Pro network switches take plug-in power supply modules. The PSM500-AC is one of those modules, and as it is fully hot-swappable it can be fitted or replaced without interrupting the switch. TP-Link list it as suitable for the SG6428XHP, SG6654XHP, S6500-24GP4XF, S6500-48GP6XF, S6500-24MPP4Y and S6500-48MPP6Y.
