TP-LINK - PSM900-AC - 900W AC Power Supply Module

PSM900-AC — 900W AC Power Supply Module

The TP-Link Power Supply Module PSM900-AC is a hot-swappable 900 W AC power supply module with 53.5 V / 16.5 A DC output, for TP-Link Omada and Omada Pro switches such as the SG6428XHP, SG6654XHP, S6500-24GP4XF, S6500-48GP6XF, S6500-24MPP4Y and S6500-48MPP6Y. TP-Link describe it as an AC-input, DC-output module that converts the input to 53.5 V with up to 900 W of output.

What the PSM900-AC is for

TP-Link's larger Omada and Omada Pro network switches take plug-in power supply modules. The PSM900-AC is one of those modules, and as it is fully hot-swappable it can be fitted or replaced without interrupting the switch. TP-Link list it as suitable for the SG6428XHP, SG6654XHP, S6500-24GP4XF, S6500-48GP6XF, S6500-24MPP4Y and S6500-48MPP6Y.

On PoE models the module also feeds the PoE budget, so check with TP-Link's datasheet for your switch how many modules it takes and what budget each combination gives. For the smaller T3700G/T2700G series modules, see the PSM150-AC.
