TP-LINK - TL-SG105S-M2 - 5-Port 2.5G Multi-Gigabit Desktop Switch

TL-SG105S-M2 — 5-Port 2.5G Multi-Gigabit Desktop Switch

The TP-Link TL-SG105S-M2 is a 5-port unmanaged switch with 5× 2.5 Gbps (100 Mbps/1/2.5 Gbps) RJ45 ports, in a desktop case, fanless. It is plug and play, so it works out of the box with no configuration.

What the TL-SG105S-M2 is for

The TL-SG105S-M2 is an unmanaged multi-gigabit network switch: every port negotiates up to 2.5 Gbps, which suits NAS drives, servers, workstations and Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7 access points or routers with multi-gig ports. TP-Link's page heading for it reads "2.5G Super-Fast Speeds without Changing Cables".

It gives no PoE, so access points and cameras need their own power or a PoE injector. Browse our wider data networking range for routers and access points.

What you will need

You need network cable for each device and a mains socket for the switch. It gives no PoE, so powered devices need a separate supply. To get 2.5G speeds the device at the other end needs a 2.5G-capable port.
