The built-in omnidirectional antennas (3.5 dBi on 2.4 GHz, 5.5 dBi on 5 GHz) radiate around the unit, so it suits covering an area from a central mounting point. Ruijie lists a maximum transmit power of 28 dBm on each radio, subject to local regulatory limits, and up to 1024 associated clients (the real figure depends on the environment), with 120 active devices recommended.
For the wired side there is one Gigabit RJ45 port that takes PoE input and one 1GE SFP port for an optical uplink. Management options are Ruijie Cloud and web-based management (Eweb), with Fat, Fit and Cloud mode switching.

What you will need
A power source: an 802.3af/at PoE port, or a 48 V/0.35 A DC adapter with a 2.0 mm/6.3 mm centre-positive plug, which Ruijie says is purchased independently. The AP draws a maximum of 12.95 W, so a standard 802.3af port is enough, and a PoE switch or PoE injector can supply the PoE. To use the optical uplink you also need a 1G SFP module and fibre; tell us the run and we will check. A mounting bracket is delivered with the main unit for ceiling or pole mounting.
