The Ruijie RG-AP820-L(V2) is a dual-radio Wi-Fi 6 indoor access point. It has a single Gigabit port that accepts 802.3af PoE, and it mounts on a wall or ceiling with the bracket supplied.
What the RG-AP820-L(V2) is for
Ruijie position the RG-AP820-L(V2) for indoor scenarios including hotels, offices, retail stores and schools. Radio 1 works on 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz and Radio 2 on 5 GHz, each with two spatial streams, which gives a combined peak of 1.775 Gbps with one radio on each band, or 2.402 Gbps with both on 5 GHz.
It supports up to 1,024 associated clients, although the number varies with the environment, and Ruijie recommend a maximum of 120 active devices per access point. It can run in Fat, Fit or Cloud mode, managed through Ruijie Cloud or its web-based Eweb interface, and includes wireless intrusion detection with rogue AP detection. It suits a single-floor or multi-room deployment alongside other access points.
Ruijie do not state an IP rating, and the operating range is -10°C to +50°C, so treat it as an indoor unit.

What you will need
You need a power source: either an 802.3af (or higher) PoE switch port or PoE injector, or a 48 V DC/0.3 A adapter. Ruijie state the PoE source and the DC adapter are both purchased separately. The maximum draw is 12.95 W, so standard PoE is enough. Fit mode works with a wireless access controller. Use Cat5e or better cable to the Gigabit port.
