The Ruijie RG-AP810-L is an indoor Wi-Fi 6 access point with two radios, giving peak rates of 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 1.201 Gbps on 5 GHz. It mounts on a wall or ceiling and has a single Gigabit port that takes 802.3af PoE.
What the RG-AP810-L is for
Ruijie recommends the RG-AP810-L for indoor scenarios covering hotels, businesses and governments. It is a 220 mm x 220 mm x 49 mm unit that mounts on a wall or ceiling using the bracket delivered with it, with a Kensington lock option and a securing latch.
Each radio is 2x2, with built-in omnidirectional antennas (2 dBi on 2.4 GHz, 4 dBi on 5 GHz) and a maximum transmit power of 26 dBm, subject to local regulation. Ruijie recommends up to 64 active devices for HD video or 120 for general usage, and lists a maximum of 256 associated clients, which varies with the environment. Band steering and load balancing by client count or traffic are listed.
It has one Gigabit RJ45 port for the wired connection, which also takes 802.3af PoE. Management options are Ruijie Cloud and web-based management (Eweb), with Fat, Fit and Cloud mode switching; Fit mode involves an access controller. Ruijie's ordering information also lists a Ruijie Cloud Service lifetime licence as bundled.

What you will need
A power source: an 802.3af PoE port, or a 48 V/0.3 A DC adapter with a 2.1 mm/5.5 mm centre-positive plug. The AP draws at most 12.95 W, so a standard 802.3af port is enough. Ruijie says the PoE injector is sold separately and that a DC adapter, if you want DC power, should be bought from a third-party vendor, so a PoE switch or PoE injector is the usual way to power it. You also need a network cable back to your switch or router.
