TP-Link Omada EAP625GP-Wall — AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 Wall Plate GPON Access Point with PoE Out
The TP-Link Omada EAP625GP-Wall is an AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 wall plate access point with a built-in GPON fibre connection. It is dual-band, quoting 5 GHz: 1201 Mbps, 2.4 GHz: 574 Mbps, and has a GPON fibre port (SC/APC), two gigabit RJ45 ports (one with 802.3af PoE out) and an FXS phone port. It is mains powered (100–240 V) from the wall box behind it. TP-Link rate it for 120+ concurrent clients and up to 50 m² of coverage.
What the EAP625GP-Wall is for
It is for fibre-to-the-room networks in hotels, student accommodation, flats and offices: the GPON port takes fibre from a DeltaStream OLT such as the DS-P7001-08, the access point fits a standard wall box, and the RJ45 ports connect a TV, PC or phone in the room, with PoE out for a phone or camera. See our full range of access points.
Power and data come from the wall box and fibre, so no PoE switch is needed at the access point.
As a TP-Link Omada access point the EAP625GP-Wall can be managed centrally from an Omada Hardware, Software or Cloud-Based Controller and the Omada App, or standalone through its own web interface.

What you will need
A wall box with mains power, a GPON fibre drop from a DeltaStream OLT through a splitter, and an Omada controller for central management.
Buying from Zenith Security Co.
We are a supplier, not an installer. We will go through the EAP625GP-Wall with you before you buy, including the OLT, splitters and fibre layout, and depending on your requirements and your area we can recommend a qualified trade installer. We have been operating since 2012 and you can visit our trade counter in Wolverhampton.
How is the EAP625GP-Wall powered?
From mains (100–240 V, 0.5 A) at the wall box. It does not take PoE. One of its RJ45 ports supplies 802.3af PoE out to a device such as an IP phone or camera.
Does the EAP625GP-Wall need an Omada controller?
It can be set up on its own through its web interface or the Omada app, and is managed centrally by any Omada controller: Omada Central (cloud-based), hardware controllers such as the OC200 and OC300, or the free Omada Software Controller.
What Wi-Fi standard is the EAP625GP-Wall?
Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax), AX1800 class, dual-band.
How many devices does the EAP625GP-Wall support?
TP-Link quote 120+ concurrent clients and coverage up to 50 m². These are TP-Link test figures; walls, ceilings and interference reduce real coverage, so plan a site survey for larger buildings.
Can the EAP625GP-Wall be used outdoors?
No. It is an indoor unit (operating temperature 0°C to 40°C). For outdoor Wi-Fi see the Omada outdoor models in our access points range.
EAP625GP-Wall or EAP615GP-Wall?
Both are AX1800 GPON wall plates. The EAP625GP-Wall adds 802.3af PoE out on one of its two RJ45 ports.
