The TP-Link Tapo H200 is the hub that links Tapo Sub-1G devices, such as sensors, buttons and the S210/S220 switches, and can also store recordings from supported Tapo cameras and video doorbells on a microSD card of up to 512 GB (card not included). It acts as a smart alarm and chime with 19 ringtones, and connects to your network over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or its LAN port.

What the Tapo H200 is for

Use it as the centre of a Tapo security set-up: sensors and buttons trigger smart actions, a doorbell press or camera detection sounds the chime, and recordings stay local. What you will need

A broadband router (by Wi-Fi or the included Ethernet cable), a mains socket, the Tapo app and, for recording, a microSD card up to 512 GB. Sensors, buttons and switches are sold separately.

Up to 64 IoT devices (sensors, buttons, Sub-1G switches) plus 4 cameras or video doorbells.

Which cameras can record to the H200?

TP-Link currently list the Tapo C420, Tapo C400 and Tapo D230, with more to be supported.

Does it work with the Tapo S210 and S220 switches?

Yes. TP-Link list the H100 or H200 hub as required for those switches.

Is a microSD card included?

No, the card is sold separately; it takes up to 512 GB.

Can it act as a doorbell chime?

Yes. It works as a smart alarm and chime, with 19 ringtone options.
