The TP-Link TL-SX105 is a 5-port unmanaged switch with 5× 10 Gbps (100 Mbps/1/2.5/5/10 Gbps) RJ45 ports, in a desktop/wall-mountable case, fanless. It is plug and play, so it works out of the box with no configuration.
What the TL-SX105 is for
The TL-SX105 is an unmanaged multi-gigabit network switch: every port negotiates up to 10 Gbps, which suits NAS drives, servers, workstations and Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7 access points or routers with multi-gig ports. TP-Link's page heading for it reads "Same Cables, New Speed".

What you will need
You need network cable for each device and a mains socket for the switch. It gives no PoE, so powered devices need a separate supply. To get 10G speeds the device at the other end needs a 10G-capable port.

Does the TL-SX105 support PoE?
No. The TL-SX105 is a non-PoE switch. Devices that need PoE must be powered separately, for example with a PoE injector, or you can choose a TP-Link PoE switch.
Is the TL-SX105 managed?
No. It is an unmanaged plug and play switch, so it has no web interface and needs no configuration.
How fast are the ports on the TL-SX105?
All 5 RJ45 ports are 10 Gbps (100 Mbps/1/2.5/5/10 Gbps). TP-Link list switching capacity of 100 Gbps.
Can the TL-SX105 be rack mounted?
No. The TL-SX105 is a desktop switch that can also be wall mounted. For a rack cabinet choose a rack-mountable model such as the TL-SG1016 or TL-SG1024.
Is the TL-SX105 silent?
Yes. TP-Link list it as fanless, so it runs silently.
How quickly can I get it?
