TP-Link Omada EAP660 HD — AX3600 Ceiling Mount Multi-Gigabit Wi-Fi 6 High-Density Access Point

The TP-Link Omada EAP660 HD is an AX3600 Wi-Fi 6 ceiling mount access point. It is dual-band, quoting 5 GHz: 2402 Mbps, 2.4 GHz: 1148 Mbps, and has one 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port. It is powered by 802.3at PoE+ or 12 V DC (adapter included). TP-Link rate it for 1,020+ concurrent clients and up to 200 m² of coverage.

What the EAP660 HD is for

As a high-density model it is for busy spaces: lecture halls, conference rooms, hotels, retail and open-plan offices where many devices connect at once. See our full range of access points.

Power it from a PoE+ switch port that also runs at 2.5G and manage the whole site from one Omada controller.

As a TP-Link Omada access point the EAP660 HD can be managed centrally from an Omada Hardware, Software or Cloud-Based Controller and the Omada App, or standalone through its own web interface.

Buying from Zenith Security Co.

We are a supplier, not an installer. We will go through the EAP660 HD with you before you buy, including how many access points your site needs and whether your switch has the PoE budget, and depending on your requirements and your area we can recommend a qualified trade installer. We have been operating since 2012 and you can visit our trade counter in Wolverhampton.

Does the EAP660 HD support PoE?

Yes. TP-Link specify 802.3at PoE+ input, or 12 V DC. Maximum draw: EU: 25.5 W; US: 22.3 W.

Does the EAP660 HD need an Omada controller?

It can be set up on its own through its web interface or the Omada app, and is managed centrally by any Omada controller: Omada Central (cloud-based), hardware controllers such as the OC200 and OC300, or the free Omada Software Controller.

What Wi-Fi standard is the EAP660 HD?

Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax/ac/n/g/b/a), AX3600 class, dual-band.

How many devices does the EAP660 HD support?

TP-Link quote 1,020+ concurrent clients and coverage up to 200 m². These are TP-Link test figures; walls, ceilings and interference reduce real coverage, so plan a site survey for larger buildings.

Can the EAP660 HD be used outdoors?

No. It is an indoor unit (operating temperature 0°C to 40°C). For outdoor Wi-Fi see the Omada outdoor models in our access points range.
