The TP-Link Omada EAP670 is an AX5400 Wi-Fi 6 ceiling mount access point. It is dual-band, quoting 5 GHz: 4804 Mbps, 2.4 GHz: 574 Mbps, and has one 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port. It is powered by 802.3at PoE+ or 12 V / 2 A DC (adapter included). TP-Link rate it for 250+ concurrent clients and up to 140 m² of coverage.

As a TP-Link Omada access point the EAP670 can be managed centrally from an Omada Hardware, Software or Cloud-Based Controller and the Omada App, or standalone through its own web interface.

What you will need

A PoE source and network cable to the mounting position. For central management, add an Omada controller such as the OC200 or OC300, or use Omada Central cloud.

Does the EAP670 support PoE?

Yes. TP-Link specify 802.3at PoE+ input, or 12 V / 2 A DC. Maximum draw: EU: 20.8 W; US: 22.3 W.

Does the EAP670 need an Omada controller?

It can be set up on its own through its web interface or the Omada app, and is managed centrally by any Omada controller: Omada Central (cloud-based), hardware controllers such as the OC200 and OC300, or the free Omada Software Controller.

How many devices does the EAP670 support?

TP-Link quote 250+ concurrent clients and coverage up to 140 m². These are TP-Link test figures; walls, ceilings and interference reduce real coverage, so plan a site survey for larger buildings.

Can the EAP670 be used outdoors?

No. It is an indoor unit (operating temperature 0°C to 40°C). For outdoor Wi-Fi see the Omada outdoor models in our access points range.

Both are AX5400 ceiling access points with a 2.5 Gbps port; check the TP-Link pages for each if you need to compare the radio and antenna details.

How quickly can I get it?

We ship nationally from our multi-million pound warehouse, with orders leaving daily. Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally dispatched for delivery within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales. You can also collect in store from our trade counter — call first so we can confirm your order is ready. We do not ship to Northern Ireland.
