The TP-Link Omada SG5428XMPP is a stackable Lite L3 managed switch with 24 gigabit RJ45 ports and four 10G SFP+ slots. 8 ports supply PoE++ (802.3bt, up to 90 W) and 16 supply PoE+ (802.3at, up to 30 W), from a 500 W total budget. It has 3 cooling fans and fits a 19-inch rack (1U).
What the SG5428XMPP is for
It suits multi-gig Wi-Fi and high-power PoE devices: Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 access points that need more than gigabit, PTZ cameras and other PoE++ loads, powered over the data cable. As a Lite L3 switch it routes between VLANs with static routing, RIP and OSPF, and up to four units can be stacked over the 10G SFP+ ports and managed as one.
As a TP-Link Omada switch the SG5428XMPP can be managed centrally from an Omada Hardware, Software or Cloud-Based Controller and the Omada App, or standalone through its own web interface.

What you will need
A 19-inch rack or cabinet (or a shelf, using the rubber feet), network cable for each device, SFP+ modules or DAC cables for the 10G slots, such as the SM5110-SR (multi-mode), SM5110-LR (single-mode), SM5220-1M DAC or SM5310-T (10GBASE-T), and an Omada controller such as the OC200 or OC300 if you want central management.
