The TP-Link Omada SX3008F is an L2+ managed switch with eight 10G SFP+ slots. It is fanless and fits a 19-inch rack (1U).
What the SX3008F is for
It is an aggregation or core switch: link access switches, servers and NAS units over 10G fibre or DAC cables in one rack, and keep traffic between cabinets fast. See our range of fully managed switches.
As a TP-Link Omada switch the SX3008F can be managed centrally from an Omada Hardware, Software or Cloud-Based Controller and the Omada App, or standalone through its own web interface.

What you will need
A 19-inch rack or cabinet (or a shelf, using the rubber feet), SFP+ modules or DAC cables for the 10G slots, such as the SM5110-SR (multi-mode), SM5110-LR (single-mode), SM5220-1M DAC or SM5310-T (10GBASE-T), and an Omada controller such as the OC200 or OC300 if you want central management.

Does the SX3008F supply PoE?
No. It has no PoE output. For PoE see the PoE models in this range, or use a PoE access switch below this one.
Is the SX3008F Omada compatible, and does it need a controller?
It is a TP-Link Omada switch and works with Omada Hardware, Software or Cloud-Based Controllers. A controller is optional: it can also be managed standalone through the web GUI or CLI.
Can the SX3008F route between VLANs?
It supports 48 IPv4/IPv6 static routes and IP interfaces, so it can route between VLANs using static routes. For RIP or OSPF see the SG5 Lite L3 models.
What SFP modules does the SX3008F take?
Its eight SFP+ slots take 10G SFP+ modules or DAC cables, such as the SM5110-SR, SM5110-LR or SM5220-1M. Check TP-Link's Omada compatibility list or send us your fibre type and distance.
SX3008F or SX3016F?
The SX3008F has eight 10G SFP+ slots and no RJ45 ports. The SX3016F has 16 10G SFP+ slots and no RJ45 ports.
How quickly can I get it?
We ship nationally from our multi-million pound warehouse, with orders leaving daily. Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally dispatched for delivery within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales. You can also collect in store from our trade counter — call first so we can confirm your order is ready. We do not ship to Northern Ireland.
