Ajax Superior DoorProtect G3 Fibra - Wired Grade 3 Door Contact
Superior DoorProtect G3 Fibra is a wired opening detector for doors and windows, built to Security Grade 3. The detector fixes to the frame and a magnet to the moving door or sash; two reed switches report as soon as the two are pulled apart. It also has an accelerometer that senses shock and tilt, and a magnetic masking sensor that notices an attempt to defeat the main magnet with another one. It runs on the Fibra wired bus, so data and power share one cable and there is no battery to change. A terminal takes one extra wired contact with a normally closed (NC) output. Choose black or white above.

What does G3 mean?
Grade 3. Ajax lists this detector as Security Grade 3 under EN 50131, certified by TREZOR TEST s.r.o.
Does it need a battery?
No. It takes its power from the Fibra line it is wired to, at 5-30 V DC.
Which magnet should I use?
Ajax says to install the detector with one magnet only, on either the left or the right side. Do not use both magnets at the same time.
Can I wire another contact into it?
Yes. It has an input for one extra wired detector with a normally closed (NC) contact.
What is the magnetic masking sensor for?
It detects an attempt to mask the main magnet with a fraudulent magnet.
Which hub does it need?
It needs an Ajax hub with Fibra lines, such as Superior Hub Hybrid (2G), Superior Hub Hybrid (4G), Superior Hub Hybrid 2 or Superior MegaHub.
