The Dahua DH-IPC-HDBW3541EP-AS-0280B-S2-Grey is a 5MP vandal-proof dome network camera with a 2.80mm fixed lens, built-in microphone and on-board deep learning analytics for human and vehicle classification. It is IP67 and IK10 rated, so it copes with both outdoor exposure and physical knocks.

Who is it for?

Will this camera work with a non-Dahua NVR?

Yes — it supports the ONVIF standard, so it can be added to most third-party NVR systems that also support ONVIF, alongside its native compatibility with Dahua NVRs.

Does it need a separate power supply?

No separate power supply is normally needed — when connected to a PoE-enabled NVR or PoE switch, this camera receives both power and data over the same Cat5e/Cat6 cable.

How much storage will I need?

The camera has a built-in Micro SD card slot supporting up to 256GB for local backup, but for continuous recording across multiple cameras we would size your NVR's hard drive based on resolution, frame rate and how many days of footage you want to keep.

Can I mix this with an existing analogue (HDCVI) system?

Not directly — this is an IP camera, so it needs a PoE NVR rather than an HDCVI DVR. If you have an existing analogue system, we can advise on the best way to add IP cameras alongside it.
