Dahua DH-IPC-HFW3541TP-ZAS-27135 - 5MP Lite AI IR Varifocal Bullet PoE IP CCTV Camera

Dahua DH-IPC-HFW3541TP-ZAS-27135 — 5MP Lite AI IR Night Vision Varifocal Bullet PoE IP CCTV Camera

The Dahua DH-IPC-HFW3541TP-ZAS-27135 is a 5MP AI IP CCTV camera in a bullet housing, from Dahua's Lite AI series, with a 2.7-13.5mm motorised varifocal lens. Dahua lists the model as DH-IPC-HFW3541T-ZAS, and the P in this model number is the PAL version. It combines built-in IR night vision up to 60m, 120dB WDR, perimeter protection that recognises humans and vehicles, and PoE power in an IP67 housing. The camera listed as DH-IPC-HFW3541TP-ZAS-27135-S2 is a different, WizSense version. The IP67 housing is rated for outdoor use from -30 °C to +60 °C, and the 4 built-in IR LEDs reach up to 60 m for night vision. As a smart camera with Lite AI it recognises humans and vehicles for tripwire and intrusion detection, and as a PoE security camera it can be powered over its network cable (802.3af).

Also listed as IPC-HFW3541TP-ZAS-27135.

Technical specification

How far it can see (Dahua DORI figures)

Works with

• Dahua DH-PFA130-E water-proof junction box
• Dahua DH-PFA152-E pole mount bracket
• Excel LR1002-1EC single-port long reach Ethernet over coax extender
• Excel LR1002-1ET single-port long reach Ethernet over coax extender
• The WizSense version of this camera (DH-IPC-HFW3541TP-ZAS-27135-S2)

What you will need

• A PoE NVR that supports 5MP recording, with enough channels and PoE ports for this camera
• Cat5e or Cat6 cabling to carry both video and power to the camera
• For long runs or several cameras, a PoE switch keeps power and cabling manageable
• Appropriate GDPR signage where the camera covers public areas or neighbouring property

Common questions

Is this camera WizSense?

Dahua's datasheet for this model calls it a Lite AI camera and does not use the WizSense name. The S2 model (DH-IPC-HFW3541TP-ZAS-27135-S2) is the one Dahua describes as WizSense.

Can the view be adjusted after installation?

Dahua lists a motorized vari-focal lens from 2.7 mm to 13.5 mm, so the view can be set between wide (horizontal 99°) and narrow (horizontal 26°) without changing the lens.

Does it have a built-in microphone?

Dahua lists one RCA audio input and one RCA audio output, and one alarm input and one alarm output. The datasheet does not list a built-in microphone.

How far can it see?

Dahua's DORI figures are above: from 64.0 m (wide) to 222.0 m (tele) to detect a person, and 6.4 m to 22.2 m to identify one. The IR reaches up to 60 m.

Does it need a separate power supply?

No. It runs on PoE (802.3af) or 12V DC, and uses under 9.8 W.

Will it work with a recorder that is not Dahua?

It supports ONVIF Profile S and G, so it can be added to compatible third-party recorders. Intelligent search works together with a Dahua Smart NVR.
