Dahua DHI-NKB1000-E: Lite network control keyboard
The DHI-NKB1000-E is Dahua's Lite network keyboard for controlling PTZ speed domes, standalone DVRs and network video servers. It has a 3-axis joystick with a twist head for zoom and a return-to-centre action. It also has dedicated keys for presets, auto scan, auto pan, auto tour and patterns. It connects directly over RS-485 or RS-232, or over the network. It can also link to SmartPSS or the DSS platform by USB.
Who is it for?
It suits control rooms, reception desks and security offices that run PTZ cameras. A physical joystick makes following a person or vehicle much quicker than using a mouse.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the NKB1000-E and the NKB1000-A?
Both are Dahua NKB1000 network keyboards. The -E is the Lite version. If you need the other version, see the DHI-NKB1000-A.
Does it work with non-Dahua PTZ cameras?
In direct mode it supports Pelco-D and Pelco-P over RS-485 as well as Dahua protocols.
Can it control cameras over the network?
Yes. In network mode you add devices by IP address, port and protocol, up to 2048 network PTZ devices per user.
