What is video metadata search?
The recorder extracts attributes (clothing colour, vehicle type, plate, etc.) from footage as it's recorded, making later searches faster.
Do I need AI-enabled cameras for these features?
No — face detection, SMD Plus, perimeter protection, metadata and AcuPick all run on the recorder itself for the channel counts listed above.
