The Hikvision DS-2CD2543G2-IWS is a 4 MP AcuSense fixed mini dome network camera with Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n, 2.4 GHz). This listing is the 2.8 mm fixed-lens version, product code DS-2CD2543G2-IWS(2.8mm)(O-STD). It has a 1/3" progressive scan CMOS sensor and a maximum resolution of 2688 × 1520 at 25 fps, and it can join the network through its RJ45 Ethernet port or over Wi-Fi. Hikvision gives a wireless range of up to 80 m and states that performance varies with the actual environment.
120 dB wide dynamic range (WDR) is for clear imaging against strong backlight, and BLC, HLC and 3D DNR are available for image enhancement. Minimum illumination is 0.005 Lux in colour (F1.6, AGC on) and 0 Lux in black and white with IR, with an IR range of up to 30 m. Motion detection classifies human and vehicle targets, and line crossing and intrusion detection support alarm triggering by specified target types (human and vehicle). Face detection, a built-in microphone, one audio input and output, one alarm input and output, and H.265+ and H.264+ compression are also included.

What you will need
Power is either 12 VDC through the Ø5.5 mm coaxial power plug (max. 6 W) or PoE (802.3af, Class 3, max. 7 W) from a PoE switch. The camera has a built-in memory card slot for a microSD card. We also supply network video recorders and hard drives; ask us which recorder suits before ordering.
