The Dahua DH-HAC-HDW1801TP-Z-A-27135-S2 (listed by Dahua as the HAC-HDW1801T-Z-A, S2 version) is a 4K Starlight HDCVI eyeball camera from Dahua's HDCVI Lite Series. Its 2.7-13.5mm motorised lens can be zoomed and focused remotely from the XVR, so you can set the exact field of view after installation without going back up the ladder. Smart IR reaches up to 60m, and a built-in microphone sends audio back over the same coax.
Who is it for?
Sites where one camera has to cover a specific area at a set distance: long driveways, car parks, loading bays, gates and yards. Being able to zoom from 114° wide down to 32° makes it a flexible choice for installers who want to fine-tune coverage remotely.

Frequently asked questions
Can I zoom and focus the lens remotely?
Yes. The 2.7-13.5mm lens is motorised with auto focus, so zoom and focus are adjusted from the XVR over the coax.
How far can it see at night?
Smart IR reaches up to 60m. At full zoom, Dahua's DORI figures give identification at up to 28m.
Does it record audio?
Yes. The built-in microphone sends audio over the coax to a compatible Dahua XVR.
Will it work with my existing recorder?
It outputs CVI, TVI, AHD or CVBS. Remote zoom/focus and audio over coax need a Dahua HDCVI XVR, and your recorder must support 8MP to record full 4K.
