The Dahua DH-SD49425DB-HNY-GQ-EAU (Dahua model SD49425DB-HNY-GQ-EAU) is a 4MP WizSense PTZ camera with a 25x optical zoom and a built-in 4G modem. It sends video over the mobile network (LTE, WCDMA or GSM), so it can be installed where there is no wired network, and it still has an RJ-45 port if a cable is available. Starlight technology gives colour images in low light, and IR illumination reaches up to 100m.
Who is it for?
This camera suits building sites, farms, remote compounds, car parks, temporary installations and any large outdoor area where you need to pan, tilt and zoom from one position but cannot run a network cable. SMD 3.0 and perimeter protection classify people and vehicles, so alerts focus on real activity.

Frequently asked questions
Does it need a wired network connection?
No. It has a built-in 4G modem, so it can stream over the mobile network with a data SIM. It also has an RJ-45 port if you prefer to connect by cable.
Is it powered by PoE?
No. Dahua specifies a 12V DC 3A power supply for this model.
How far can it see at night?
The IR illuminators reach up to 100m, and Starlight technology keeps colour images in low light.
Can it follow a person automatically?
When an IVS rule is triggered, SMD 3.0 can make the camera move to the target's position and patrol based on its presets.
