The DH-SD5A825GA-HNR is Dahua's 4K-class (8MP) PTZ in the SD5A range — 4x the pixel count of the 2MP models for the same 25x zoom, in the same tough IP67/IK10 housing, for sites needing the sharpest possible detail from a PTZ.
Who is it for?
Sites needing the highest resolution PTZ available for reading fine detail — number plates, faces — at range, such as ports, large car parks and high-security perimeters, where bandwidth and storage for a 4K stream are budgeted for.

Why choose 8MP over the 2MP or 4MP PTZ models?
Significantly more detail per frame at the same zoom level and distance — useful where identification quality matters more than storage cost.
Does higher resolution mean more storage needed?
Yes — an 8MP stream needs considerably more bandwidth and hard drive space than a 2MP or 4MP camera; size your NVR and storage accordingly, or ask us to help.
Is it vandal-resistant?
Yes — IK10 impact rated in addition to IP67 weatherproofing.
