The Dahua DHI-KTD01L(S) is a digital 2-wire IP video intercom kit for a house or villa. It combines an anodised aluminium villa door station with a 2MP low-light colour camera, a white 7" capacitive touchscreen indoor monitor and a Dahua 2-wire switch. Because power, video and audio all travel over two wires, it is ideal for upgrading an existing doorbell or audio intercom without pulling new network cable.
Who is it for?
Installers replacing older wired door entry in homes, where only a 2-core cable runs between the door and the inside of the property, and anyone wanting app answering through Dahua DMSS.

What you will need
- A 2-core cable between the switch, door station and indoor monitor (existing doorbell wiring can often be reused)
- An electric lock or strike
- A Micro SD card in the monitor if you want to record visitor messages
- A router connection for the DMSS app
Frequently asked questions
What does 2-wire mean?
Power, video, audio and data share a single pair of wires, so you do not need Cat5e cable to the door station or monitor. Dahua quotes a maximum power distance of 50 m.
Can I add more monitors?
Yes. The monitor supports up to 4 extensions in villa mode. For larger systems see the DHI-VTNS2003B-2 2-wire switch.
Is there an IP (Cat5e) version?
Yes, the DHI-KTP01L(S) is the PoE IP equivalent.
