Dahua DHI-TPC-BF1241-B3F4-DW-S2: 4MP Thermal Network Mini Hybrid Bullet Camera
The Dahua DHI-TPC-BF1241-B3F4-DW-S2 is a dual-channel bullet camera from Dahua's Eureka series (Dahua model TPC-BF1241-S2). It combines a 256 × 192 vanadium oxide thermal sensor with a 3.5mm lens and a 4MP visible camera with a 4mm lens. The thermal channel sees heat in total darkness, smoke and light fog, while the visible channel records colour detail. It is the wide-angle version of the DHI-TPC-BF1241-B7F8-DW-S2.
Who is it for?
Warehouses, yards, plant rooms, farms, boundaries and car parks where you want early warning of a heat source or reliable detection of people and vehicles at night without relying on lighting. Heat detection with cold and hot spot trace helps flag overheating equipment or a developing fire.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a temperature measurement (radiometric) camera?
It provides heat detection and alarm with cold and hot spot trace. Dahua's datasheet for this model does not list spot or area temperature measurement rules.
Why choose the 3.5mm version?
It gives the widest thermal view (50.6°) for yards and building perimeters. The 7mm version reaches further (human detection 292m) with a narrower 24° view.
Does it work in total darkness?
Yes. The thermal channel needs no light at all, and the visible channel has 30m IR.
Can it be powered by PoE?
Yes, or by a 12V DC supply.
