The HAC-HDW1500TP-A-POC-0280B-S2 is a 5MP eyeball-style dome camera with a fixed 2.8mm wide-angle lens and Power over Coax (PoC) support — the camera can be powered down the same coax run as the video signal from a PoC-enabled HDCVI recorder, removing the need for a separate power cable.
Who is it for?
Installs where running a separate power cable to the camera is impractical — upgrading old analogue coax runs where only video cable exists, or reducing cabling and labour on a new install by combining power and video on one coax run.

What you will need
- A PoC-enabled Dahua HDCVI recorder to power the camera down the coax, or a standard 12V supply
- RG59 coax to the camera location
- A surveillance-grade hard drive sized to your retention needs
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
Not if your recorder supports PoC — the camera can be powered entirely over the coax. Without a PoC recorder, it also runs from a standard 12V DC supply.
What area does the 2.8mm lens cover?
A wide field of view suited to general area coverage rather than reading detail at distance.
Is it weatherproof?
Yes — IP67 rated, metal housing.
