Fire Alarms

We supply fire alarm equipment to installers, electricians and businesses in England, Scotland and Wales. Our wired fire alarm systems are from Fike and are built around the Twinflex Pro system: control panels, ready-made kits, detectors, sounders, call points and the spare parts that go with them. We also stock Ajax wireless fire alarms, and wireless smoke, heat and carbon monoxide detectors from Hikvision, HiLook, Dahua, Texecom, Pyronix, Visonic, Honeywell and Yale. Use the Manufacturer filter to see one brand at a time. We are a fire alarm supplier based in Wolverhampton, in the West Midlands, and we send orders out from there.

What “two-wire” means

On a Twinflex Pro system, each zone uses one circuit for both the detectors and the sounders. In plain terms, you run one pair of wires around each zone instead of separate circuits for detection and for the alarm. The Twinflex Pro panel is listed as working with earlier Twinflex devices, which helps if you are extending or updating an existing Twinflex system.

Choosing detectors

Smoke detectors are not right for every room. A kitchen normally needs a heat detector, because cooking can set off a smoke sensor. Hallways and escape routes usually need smoke or multi-sensor detection. The building’s fire risk assessment, and the person designing the system, should set the final specification.

Looking for a single smoke alarm for a home rather than a panel system? Our standalone wireless smoke alarms, such as the HiLook HL-S3E, are listed here and with our alarm detectors.
