What is the difference between this and the DH-IPC-HFW2849TLP-S-PV?
The -S-T-PV adds two-way talk: it has a built-in microphone and speaker, so you can hold a conversation through the camera. The DH-IPC-HFW2849TLP-S-PV has the same 8MP sensor and smart dual light.
Can I speak through the camera from my phone?
Yes. Two-way talk works through Dahua's DMSS mobile app and compatible Dahua recorders and software.
Does it record in colour at night?
Yes. Smart dual light lets you use IR for discreet black-and-white night video, or warm light for full-colour video at night, up to 30m.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. Recording is local to your NVR or the camera's micro SD card, and the Dahua app is free.
