Dahua DH-PSDW5631SP-B360-E4-D204-DC12V - 2MP 1080p 360 Degree Panoramic PTZ IP CCTV Camera

The Dahua DH-PSDW5631SP-B360-E4-D204-DC12V (PSDW5631SP-B360-E4-D204-DC12V without the DH- prefix; Dahua lists the family as PSDW5631S-B360) is a 2MP 1080p 360 degree panoramic PTZ IP CCTV camera. Three 2MP sensors work together for a 360 degree panoramic view, while a separate 2MP PTZ camera with 5x optical zoom shows close-up detail, all from one mounting point. Dahua says the three lenses in one camera cover up to a 360 degree field of view, for zero-blind zone monitoring.

Common questions

Is it a security camera?

Yes. It is an IP network camera for CCTV security: three fixed 2MP lenses give a panoramic overview and a separate PTZ camera module adds pan, tilt and 5x optical zoom.

Does this camera have both fixed and PTZ views?

Yes. Three fixed 2MP lenses give wide-area panoramic coverage of up to 360 degrees, and a separate PTZ camera module gives pan, tilt and 5x optical zoom on the same unit.

What is the optical zoom on the PTZ lens?

The PTZ module has a 2.7mm to 13.5mm motorised lens, giving 5x optical zoom, with 16x digital zoom.

Is it an infrared camera?

Yes. IR LEDs reach up to 15m with True Day/Night (ICR), so it works as an infrared camera in the dark, based on Dahua's figures.

How far does the infrared reach?

Up to 15m, based on Dahua's figures.

What power does this version need?

This version is rated DC12V, as in the model code. Dahua's datasheet for the base PSDW5631SP-B360 also lists PoE (802.3at, Class 4), so ask us to confirm the power options for this version.

Can it record to a card or a recorder?

It has a Micro SD card slot for up to 256GB. It also supports ONVIF Profile T and CGI, so it can be added to ONVIF-compatible recorders: see our NVR range.

Is it weatherproof?

Dahua lists no ingress protection rating for this camera, so we do not describe it as weatherproof.
