The Dahua DHI-ARD2231-W2(868) is a wireless dual-tech PIR detector, wireless motion sensor and wireless motion detector that combines passive infrared (PIR) detection with a microwave sensor (also called a microwave detector), which greatly reduces false detections caused by thermal interference. Dahua describes it as an indoor detector. It has pet immunity for animals up to 18kg and under 50cm, a 12m range at 90° and a two-way 868MHz link with AES128 encryption.
