Dahua TPC-BF5401-B25-BM-S2 - PoE Thermal Imaging IP CCTV Bullet Camera
Product Features
- Dahua TPC-BF5401-B25-BM-S2 is a waterproof PoE thermal imaging IP CCTV bullet camera with a 25mm thermal lens.
- Thermal imaging reads heat, not visible light, so it gives night vision with no illumination.
- As a fire detection camera it is listed by Dahua for early fire prevention and perimeter protection.
- The 25mm lens gives a narrower field of view for longer-range boundary monitoring.
- Colour: white · Horizontal field of view: 15.5° (25 mm lens)
Dahua TPC-BF5401-B25-BM-S2 — 25mm Thermal Network Bullet Camera
The Dahua TPC-BF5401-B25-BM-S2 is a thermal network bullet camera fitted with a 25mm thermal sensor lens, built for early fire prevention and perimeter protection applications. Dahua's datasheet for the TPC-BF5401 series lists IP67 protection, PoE power and fire detection and alarm, so this thermal security camera is waterproof, PoE powered and suited to fire detection.
Who is it for?
Thermal cameras detect heat rather than visible light, so they see through total darkness, smoke and light fog with no illumination needed. They suit perimeter and boundary detection, fire/temperature-anomaly monitoring, and sites where a conventional camera’s night vision is not enough.

Frequently asked questions
Does this camera work in complete darkness?
Yes. As a thermal camera it detects heat rather than visible light, so it produces a clear image in total darkness, smoke or light fog without any illumination. That makes it a night vision camera that needs no light.
What is the 25mm lens suited to?
The 25mm thermal lens gives a narrower field of view than a shorter lens, making this model well suited to longer-range perimeter and boundary detection.
Can it detect fire before flames are visible?
Thermal sensing picks up abnormal heat signatures, which is why this camera is used for early fire prevention alongside conventional visual monitoring.
