Dahua PSDW81642SP-A360-D425 - 16MP 360 Panoramic PTZ WizMind Camera

The Dahua PSDW81642SP-A360-D425 is a 16MP multi-sensor 360 degree panoramic PTZ network camera (a PTZ IP CCTV security camera) from Dahua's WizMind AI range. Dahua lists it on its UK site as PSDW81642S-A360-D425, the 16MP Multi-Sensor 360 Panoramic PTZ Mini Hubble WizMind Network Camera. It brings a fixed panoramic camera and a PTZ camera into one unit: the panoramic camera keeps the whole scene in view while the PTZ camera tracks targets and shows detail.

Key features

• Panoramic camera: 8 × 2MP 1/1.8" CMOS sensors, H: 360° and V: 103° field of view
• PTZ camera: 1 × 4MP 1/1.8" CMOS sensor with 25x optical zoom and 16x digital zoom
• Smart Tracking: the PTZ camera works with the panoramic camera to track targets automatically or manually
• PTZ camera has 4 built-in IR LEDs for infrared night vision, maximum illumination distance 100 m
• Built-in dual microphone and dual speaker, two-way talk
• AR Panorama: camera tags overlaid on the panoramic image, click a tag to show that camera's video
• WizMind AI functions: panoramic perimeter protection, vehicle density and crowd distribution map; PTZ perimeter protection, face detection and video metadata

Common questions

Is this camera PoE?

Dahua's datasheet gives the power supply as DC 36V, with basic power consumption of 35 W and a maximum of 45 W, and does not list PoE. It also lists a 36 VDC 5A power adapter among its accessories, so tell us if you need to confirm what is supplied with this order code.

What is the difference between the panoramic and PTZ cameras?

The panoramic camera is fixed, with eight 2MP sensors giving a 360° horizontal and 103° vertical view. The PTZ camera has a 4MP sensor, 25x optical zoom and up to 100 m of IR illumination, and pans 0° to 360° endless.

How does Smart Tracking work?

The PTZ camera cooperates with the panoramic camera to track targets and show detail. Dahua says the PTZ camera can be set to track targets automatically or manually.

Is it a WizMind camera?

Yes, Dahua lists it as a WizMind network camera. Our WizMind guide explains the range.

What analytics does it have?

Dahua lists perimeter protection (tripwire, intrusion, parking detection), vehicle density and a crowd distribution map on the panoramic camera, and perimeter protection, face detection and video metadata on the PTZ camera.

Which mounts does Dahua list for it?

Dahua lists the PFB303W-SG wall mount, PFB300C-S ceiling mount, PFA150-SG pole mount and PFA151 corner mount bracket, plus the TF-P100 micro SD memory card.

Does it work in the dark?

Yes. The PTZ camera has 4 built-in IR LEDs with a maximum illumination distance of 100 m.

Is it a waterproof camera?

Dahua rates it IP67, with an operating temperature of -40 °C to +60 °C.
