The Dahua DH-IPC-HDW5442TMP-AS-LED is a 4MP WizMind turret network camera fitted with a 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor and a 2.8mm fixed lens (3.6mm and 6mm options are also available). It uses Smart H.264+/H.265+ compression to keep bandwidth and storage requirements down, and adds a built-in microphone, Micro SD card slot and an IP67 weatherproof rating for reliable outdoor use. This -LED variant uses a white-light illuminator instead of infrared, giving a maximum illumination distance of around 17-20m for full-colour night-time footage.

Who is it for?

IP cameras carry video and PoE power over one Cat5e/Cat6 cable to a PoE NVR — ideal when cabling from scratch or wanting resolutions/analytics beyond coax. At 4MP this turret camera suits entrances, car parks, loading bays and general perimeter coverage where a compact, vandal-resistant turret housing and full-colour night footage are more useful than a monochrome IR image.
