Dahua DH-XVR5216AN-4KL-I3/T: 16 channel 4K-N/5MP WizSense DVR with two-way talk
The DH-XVR5216AN-4KL-I3/T is a 16-channel Penta-brid digital video recorder from Dahua's WizSense range, in a 1U case with two hard-drive bays. Its 16 BNC inputs detect HDCVI, AHD, TVI and CVBS cameras automatically. You can also add up to 32 IP channels. Who is it for?
It suits shops, offices, yards and larger homes that have up to 16 analogue cameras and want to talk to visitors or deter intruders with audio. Because it is Penta-brid, you can keep your existing analogue cameras and add IP cameras later on the same recorder.

- Up to two surveillance-grade hard drives. Choose one from the Hard Drive option above, or supply your own (up to 16TB each).
- HDCVI, AHD, TVI or CVBS cameras, or IP cameras, for the channels you use
- An HDMI or VGA monitor for setup and local viewing
Frequently asked questions
What does the "/T" mean?
It is the two-way talk version. Audio travels both ways over the coax cable on all 16 channels, so you can talk through supported cameras.
Can I mix analogue and IP cameras?
Yes. It has 16 analogue BNC inputs plus 16 IP channels by default. You can convert the analogue channels to IP for up to 32 IP cameras.
Do I need AI cameras to use face recognition and SMD Plus?
No. AcuPick, face recognition, perimeter protection and SMD Plus run on the recorder, so they work with standard analogue cameras.
Does it come with a hard drive?
It is sold without a hard drive. You can add one from the Hard Drive option on this page.
