The Dahua DHI-NVR5432-EI is a 32 channel WizSense AI NVR: a network video recorder, CCTV recorder and security camera recorder for IP cameras up to 32MP, with four SATA hard drive bays in a 1.5U case. Dahua's WizSense series uses an independent AI chip and deep learning algorithms, and this recorder runs face detection and recognition, perimeter protection and SMD Plus itself (AI by recorder). It has two HDMI outputs up to 3840 x 2160 (4K) and two VGA outputs.

• IP cameras: the recorder takes cameras over ONVIF and from the brands Dahua lists, and works with Dahua IP cameras up to 32MP.
• Hard drives: four SATA bays, each up to 20 TB. Choose a surveillance drive in the Hard Drive option on this page, or none if you are fitting your own.
• Camera power: Dahua's port list shows no PoE ports on this recorder, so cameras are powered from a PoE switch or injector.
• Monitor: connect to an HDMI or VGA display for local viewing.

Dahua's datasheet lists no PoE ports on this recorder. Power the cameras from a PoE switch or injector and connect the switch to the recorder.

Will it work with cameras from other brands?

It supports ONVIF 22.12 (Profile T, S and G) and lists Panasonic, Sony, Axis, Arecont, Pelco, Canon and Samsung cameras for third-party access.
