Who is this 1080p turret kit with audio for?

A coax (HD-TVI) system in a box that records sound as well as video: the DVR-104G-M1/T with four THC-T120-MS 2MP metal turrets, each with a built-in microphone and 30m infrared. The audio travels down the same RG59 coax as the video, so there is no extra wiring for sound. It suits homes, shops and small yards, and is a straightforward upgrade for an old analogue system on existing coax — the DVR-104G-M1/T takes TVI, AHD, CVI and old analogue cameras on any channel. Need colour at night? See the ColorVu Lite kits. Starting from scratch with no cabling? An IP kit is the better long-term platform.

What you’ll need with it

• A surveillance-grade hard drive — choose one from the options and we fit and format it; 1–2TB suits a 4-camera 1080p system.
• RG59 coax and 12V power to each camera (pre-made shotgun cables are simplest), plus a 12V multi-way PSU — the DVR does not power cameras. The optional Plug and Play Kit covers this.
• A network cable from the DVR to your router for the app.

Frequently asked questions

Does it record sound?

Yes — each THC-T120-MS has a built-in mic and the DVR-104G-M1/T records audio over coax on every channel.

Will it work with the cameras I already have?

Yes — the DVR auto-detects analogue, TVI, AHD and CVI on each channel, so you can mix and upgrade gradually.

Is the night vision in colour?

No — infrared, black and white after dark, up to 30m.

Is a hard drive included?

Not by default — pick one from the Hard Drive option and we fit and format it.

Is there a monthly fee?

No — local recording and a free app.
