Who is this 8MP 4K IP kit for?
A complete wired IP system: the HL-NVR-108MH-K/8P 8-channel PoE NVR with 5 x IPC-T280HAD-LUF/SL 8MP 180° dual-lens turret cameras. One Cat5e/Cat6 cable per camera carries both power and video, so there are no camera power supplies to fit. It suits houses, shops, offices and small commercial sites, and leaves 3 channels free to add cameras later. Already have coax cabling? An HD-TVI kit can reuse it.
What you’ll need with it
- A surveillance-grade hard drive — choose one from the options and we fit and format it; 4TB suits a 5-camera 8MP system.
- Cat5e/Cat6 cable to each camera position (up to 100m per run) — the optional Plug and Play Cable covers 5 x 20m runs — and a network cable from the NVR to your router.
- An HDMI screen for setup; day to day most people use the app.
Frequently asked questions
Do the cameras need their own power?
No — the NVR’s PoE ports power them over the network cable.
Is the night vision in colour?
Both — infrared by default, switching to white light for colour when an event is detected.
Does it record sound?
Yes — each camera has a microphone and speaker for audio alarms and two-way talk.
Is a hard drive included?
Not by default — pick one from the Hard Drive option and we fit and format it.
Is there a monthly fee?
No — recording is local to the NVR and the app is free.
