The Uniview UAC-P112-AF40-W is a 2MP HD analogue pan-tilt camera from Uniview's Dolphin series. It uses eight white-light illuminators rather than infrared, so the datasheet lists 24/7 colour images.

What the UAC-P112-AF40-W is for

A 1/2.9" CMOS sensor gives 1080P and 720P over coax, with a BNC output that supports TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS. The fixed 4.0 mm lens has an 83.8° horizontal angle of view, a little narrower than a 2.8 mm lens, so subjects at mid distance fill more of the frame.

It pans 0° to 345° at up to 40°/s and tilts 0° to 90° at up to 30°/s, with 32 presets. Control is over RS485 or the BNC (coax) connection at 1200 to 9600 bps.

The white-light illuminators reach 30 m. Minimum illumination is 0.005 lux (F1.6, AGC ON), or 0 lux with the white light on. The housing is rated IP66, the camera works from -30°C to 60°C and the datasheet lists wall and pendant mounting.

What you will need

You need a DVR that accepts TVI, AHD or CVI input at the resolution you intend to record; the BNC output supports TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS (1080P and 720P). Power is DC 12 V (±25%) through a 5.5 mm power interface, up to 8.5 W, from a separate 12 V supply. Add surveillance hard drives to the recorder for storage. None of these is supplied.
