The Dahua DHI-ASR2101A-D is an outdoor waterproof password ID card reader for access control systems. It supports card and password unlock, sends the information to the access controller for verification, and is IP66 rated for indoor and outdoor use. As a contactless card reader it reads ID cards at a distance of 0 cm to 5 cm. It is a reader only: it needs a compatible access controller to make the access decision.
