Who is this 1080p mini dome kit for?

A coax (HD-TVI) system in a box: a 4-in-1 DVR with compact 1080p mini dome cameras with 20m infrared. It is the kit for replacing an old analogue system on its existing RG59 cabling, or for a small property where a budget wired system is wanted and 20m night vision covers each position — porches, hallways, small yards, shop interiors. The DVR takes TVI, AHD, CVI and old analogue cameras on any channel, so existing cameras can stay until replaced, and it streams to the HiLookVision or Hik-Connect app. Choose the camera count for the positions you need; 4-channel kits take up to four, 8-channel kits up to eight. Need longer reach? The 40m IR dome kits. Want more detail? The 4MP mini dome kits. Starting from scratch with no cabling? An IP kit is the better long-term platform.

What you’ll need with it

• A surveillance-grade hard drive — choose one from the options and we fit and format it; 1–2TB suits a 4-camera 1080p system.
• RG59 coax and 12V power to each camera (pre-made shotgun cables are simplest), plus a 12V multi-way PSU for several cameras — the DVR does not power cameras.
• A network cable from the DVR to your router for the app.

Frequently asked questions

Will it work with the cameras I already have?

Yes — the DVR auto-detects analogue, TVI, AHD and CVI on each channel, so you can mix and upgrade gradually.

Is the night vision in colour?

No — infrared, black and white after dark. HiLook’s ColorVu Lite TVI cameras can be added for colour.

Is there a monthly fee?

No — local recording and a free app.
