The Uniview IPC6854ER-X40-VF is a 4MP long-range PTZ camera with a 40X optical zoom (5.7 to 228 mm), a 1/1.8" sensor and infrared to 250 m.

The lens gives a horizontal field of view of 59.47° to 2.20°. Uniview's DORI figures are 107.2 m to 3330.6 m to detect and 10.7 m to 333.1 m to identify, wide to tele. Minimum illumination is 0.0005 lux in colour (F1.2, AGC on) and 0 lux with IR. It has EIS image stabilisation (gyroscope), optical defog and heatwave reduction.

It is rated IP66 and IK10, has a heater and works from -40 °C to 70 °C. Smart intrusion prevention covers cross line, intrusion, and area enter and leave detection, and face capture is supported. It has 7 alarm inputs and 2 alarm outputs.

What you will need

Power the camera from a PoE switch or injector that supplies PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt), or from a 24 V AC or DC supply; maximum consumption is 61 W, so standard PoE and PoE+ ports are not enough. Run it on suitable network cable. For recording, use a compatible NVR fitted with hard drives, or a microSD card in the camera (up to 512 GB). A mounting bracket, power supply and recorder are not supplied.
