The Uniview IPC8544EA-KM-I1 is a 16MP panoramic network camera giving a 180° horizontal view from a 2.8 mm F1.6 lens, with 50 m of IR and a gigabit network port.

What the IPC8544EA-KM-I1 is for

It is for wide outdoor scenes such as car parks, yards and building frontages where one 180° image replaces several cameras. The main stream is 4800 × 2688 at up to 30 fps, with 2688 × 1520 and 1280 × 720 sub streams.

Uniview's DORI figures are 63.0 m to detect, 25.2 m to observe, 12.6 m to recognise and 6.3 m to identify. Minimum illumination is 0.001 lux in colour at F1.6, and 850 nm IR reaches 50 m. The IP67 metal body works from -40°C to 70°C with 6 kV surge protection.

What you will need

It needs PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) from a PoE switch or NVR, or a 24 V AC/DC supply wired to the cold-pressed terminals; maximum draw is 23 W. Use network cable for the run. For recording add an NVR that accepts 16MP streams, with a surveillance hard drive, or a microSD card of up to 512 GB. Neither is supplied.
