The Uniview NVR508-64E-R is a 64-channel network video recorder with 8 SATA drive bays, configurable RAID and an optional redundant power supply.
What the UNV-NVR508-64E-R is for
It is built for larger IP camera systems where recordings need to survive a drive failure. RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10 are supported with hot swap and N+1 hot spare, and ANR fills recording gaps after a network drop.
Incoming and outgoing bandwidth are each 384 Mbps, recording runs up to 32 MP, and it decodes Ultra 265, H.265 and H.264. There are two HDMI and two VGA outputs (HDMI up to 4K at 60 Hz), with HDMI1/VGA1 and HDMI2/VGA2 working as independent output pairs.

What you will need
Up to 64 IP cameras, and a PoE switch to power them, as the recorder has no PoE ports. Use network cable for the runs and add up to eight surveillance hard drives, which are not included. Power is 100 to 240 V AC.
