The Yealink W57R is a ruggedised DECT handset for VoIP phone systems. It carries an IP54 rating, a vibration alarm and a 1.8-inch colour screen, and Yealink states it withstands falls of up to 3.5 metres. It is a cordless VoIP phone handset that registers to a compatible Yealink DECT base station.
What the W57R is for
The W57R is aimed at workplaces where an ordinary office handset is at risk, such as warehouses, workshops and outdoor premises, where dust, splashes and knocks are part of the day. The vibration alarm helps you notice a call in a noisy area, and the keypad lock and backlit keys suit everyday use on the move. As a DECT IP phone handset it lets staff take calls away from the desk while the base station handles the connection to your VoIP system.

What you will need
The W57R is a handset, so it needs a compatible Yealink DECT base station. Yealink's own page lists the W70B single-cell base and the W80DM and W90DM multi-cell bases, and Yealink states that its DECT technology is not compatible with any third-party DECT devices. Confirm handset and base before ordering; call us if you are unsure which base suits your system. Check the hardware version if talk time matters, as Yealink gives different battery figures for V0-V3 and V4 handsets.

No. The W57R is supplied as a handset with its charger cradle, battery, belt clip and power adapter. It needs a compatible Yealink DECT base station, which is sold separately. Call us and we will help you check compatibility.
