Who is the PTZ-N2C400I-W for?

A 4MP Wi-Fi pan-tilt camera with auto-tracking, microphone and 30m infrared — a steerable camera for a garden, yard or driveway that has no cable route. Mount it, power it, join it to your Wi-Fi in the HiLookVision app, and it will follow a person who walks into view, patrol between positions you set, and let you look around live from your phone. Two-way audio lets you speak to whoever is there. It records to microSD or to a HiLook NVR. For a wired PTZ with the same tracking, the PTZ-N2D400M-DE/14; for a fixed Wi-Fi camera at lower cost, the IPC-B140HA-D/W.

What you’ll need with it

• A 12V DC power supply at the mounting point.
• A microSD card for recording, or a HiLook NVR.
• Strong 2.4GHz Wi-Fi at the position — a pan-tilt camera streams continuously while tracking, so signal matters more than for a fixed camera.

Frequently asked questions

Does it record where it isn’t pointing?

No — like any PTZ it records its current view. Auto-tracking and patrol presets cover the ground; a fixed camera alongside it gives constant coverage of one spot.

Will it track pets?

Tracking is tuned for people; small animals rarely trigger it.

Is it outdoor-rated?

Yes — weatherproof for wall or eave mounting.
