The DH-IPC-HFW3849T1P-AS-PV-0280B-PRO-Black is an 8MP WizSense bullet camera from Dahua, built around a 1/1.8" CMOS sensor with a fixed 2.8mm lens for a wide field of view. Yes — it supports ONVIF (Profile S, G and T), so it will connect to most third-party NVRs, though you'll get the full range of Dahua-specific AI analytics only when paired with a Dahua or compatible smart NVR.

Does it need a separate power supply?

No, in most installations. It's powered over the network cable by a PoE+ (802.3at) port on your NVR or switch; a 12VDC supply is only needed where PoE isn't available.

How much storage will I need?

Storage depends on frame rate, compression and how many cameras are recording continuously. This camera also takes a Micro SD card up to 512GB for local backup, but an NVR with a large HDD or attached NAS is recommended for extended 8MP footage.
