Dahua DH-IPC-PFW5849P-A180-E2-ASTE-0360B - 8MP WizMind AI 180 Degree Panoramic Bullet IP CCTV Camera

Dahua DH-IPC-PFW5849P-A180-E2-ASTE-0360B — 8MP WizMind Full-Colour 180 Degree Panoramic Bullet IP CCTV Camera

The Dahua DH-IPC-PFW5849P-A180-E2-ASTE-0360B is an 8MP (2x4MP) WizMind full-colour panoramic bullet IP CCTV camera. Two 1/1.8" sensors, each behind a 3.6mm lens, are stitched into one 180 degree image of up to 4096 × 1800, from Dahua's WizMind 5 Series. Dahua's datasheet lists the model as DH-IPC-PFW5849-A180-E2-ASTE; the P marks the PAL version and 0360B the 3.6mm lens. Built-in warm light gives full-colour images at night, and the camera adds people counting, perimeter protection and two-way talk.

Also listed as IPC-PFW5849P-A180-E2-ASTE-0360B.

Common questions

What does WizMind mean?

WizMind is Dahua's project-oriented AI range, built on deep learning algorithms, so this model works as an AI camera, and Dahua lists it in its WizMind 5 Series. See our WizMind guide.

How does the 180 degree image work?

Two sensors, each with a 3.6mm lens, are spliced into one continuous image with a combined field of view of H 180° (±10°) and V 48°, up to 4096 × 1800. That makes it a wide angle camera for covering a broad area from a single position.

Does one camera replace two separate cameras?

It gives one continuous wide view from a single mounting point and cable run, which would otherwise need two cameras.

What does full-colour mean here?

The camera has four built-in warm lights reaching up to 40 m, so images stay in colour at night. Minimum illumination is 0.0005 lux in colour.

Does it count people?

Yes. Dahua lists people counting for enter, leave and pass numbers, counting inside an area, and queue management, with 4 rules that can be configured.

Is it a waterproof night vision camera?

Yes. Dahua rates it IP67 with an operating range of -40 °C to +60 °C, so it is a waterproof camera for outdoor use. The four built-in warm lights reach up to 40 m and the minimum illumination is 0.0005 lux in colour, so it is also a night vision camera that keeps images in full colour.

Can it record without an NVR?

It takes a Micro SD card up to 512 GB, so it also works as an SD card camera, and Dahua lists FTP, SFTP and NAS storage as well.

Does it need a separate power supply?

No. It runs on PoE+ (802.3at), ePoE or 12 VDC (±30%). Dahua lists 5.5 W basic and 13.8 W maximum on PoE.

Will it work with a recorder that is not Dahua?

It supports ONVIF Profile S, G and T, so it can be added to compatible third-party recorders, and Dahua lists Milestone support.
